the trip itself was a bit crazy, complete with:
- a very crowded back seat
- jason puking all over himself and his car seat
- an emergency stop at walmart to buy towels and febreeze!
- a very tired little sean
- a stroller walk around kohl's in hopes sean would fall asleep
- over an hour restaurant wait for our food to arrive
- taking the car seat apart to wash the nastiness
- forgetting how to put the car seat back together!
- susan spilling green peas baby food on nana's new carpet
- a store stop to buy carpet cleaner
- and jason puking AGAIN while sitting in the newly cleaned car seat!
luckily, the trip home went smoothly without major incident. although, at this point, we could have handled anything!
my mom's mom- nana- actually died this past monday, so we are very happy we were able to see her last week. we'll be back up in michigan in novemebr for the memorial service...
in other news-- I am thinking about going back to work more full-time! my boss just got promoted, so he asked (and I had already thought about) if I would be interested in his job. so we still have daycare options to think about, emotions to sort through, and interviews to get through! but, its a possiblity...

After a long day in a morning mediation and an afternoon evidentiary hearing, it was really great to come home to check the blogs and see three such gorgeous pictures of my grandnephews. It put a smile on my face so thanks for sharing.
